Celebration - turning point

View of Sleeping Beauty (Collins Bonnet) from my morning walk in Howden.

Gorgeous morning at the important annual turning point, southern hemisphere Mid Winter.

From here we are heading towards the light and longer days again, and today I am also experiencing gratitude around one of my favorite events: Football World Cup.

In the midst of all drama and horrors blanketing the news and media, this coming together across the world to celebrate The Beautiful Game is a true fresh breath of air.

Not without political stains and noise, once the whistle blow and the matches kicks off the energy - passion and celebrations kick in with incredible power.

Win or loose, this is always a journey of shared experience and stories that will live on across generations.

Fighting hard, and then celebrating together.

It is all good, and at the end of the day it is all about people coming together and co-experience an array of emotions and connections.

What is your favorite World Cup story or memory?
