Ruptures
I am reflecting on a string of observations of Ruptures emerging across the world as well as more locally, nations, states, communities, organizations, workplaces.
Once noticing it is hard to not keep seeing and paying attention to what seems to be going on, and what it might mean in a Macro as well as Micro level - If anything.
Maybe also worth making a note of the Chinese Zodiac for 2026, the Fire Horse.
This is occurring every 60 years and is associated with purge (chaos even) and change, probably all random or what..?
How easy is it not to get drawn into all the drama and upset triggered and amplified by news and social media channels
Much is real and painful impacting our sense of security and certainty, and some is speculative and on the surface of it designed to create fear and uncertainty.
What more appropriate times to slow down and notice where we are, what we do, what we experience and how we really are going?
Peeling away the vortex of stress and subconscious catastrophizing, worrying about everything and nothing.
It is just exhausting is it not?
I would love to invite you to consider how you look after yourself, and how you make sure that whatever happens or not - you are truly the best and most valuable person in your own life - as well as for those around you!
Look for positive and enriching environments, do something for others and hence for your self and those close to you.
Make sure to be on top of your physical health, get checked as appropriate for your gender and age.
Carve out time for fresh air and exercise
Minimize consumption of news, how much of the news you are accessing is even useful for you?
You live and exist just like the rest of us, right here right now!
Everything else is story and memories, possible future scenarios - in fact they are all distracting us from being present and living life as it was designed.
Every breath, the feeling of using our bodies when exercising, warmth / cold), food / drink, different odors, reading, conversation and connection with others.
The Fire Horse will come and go, Ruptures will occur and then - there will be Healing!
I believe that our role is to truly be and live and contribute to the world as best we can, under whatever circumstance.
As a coach and mentor, I am getting many clients finding themselves frustrated and upset about impacts and change - often in a workplace context.
The experience is obviously very real and stressful, often it is simply too hard to work through these situations alone.
Asking for help is not failure or weakness, it is a sign of self awareness and a desire to grow and develop a clear path forward - it is showing strength!
Getting access to alternative perspectives and perceptions of reality, is for many extremely valuable and useful to enable peace and clarity!
What is the Worst thing that can happen - What is the Best thing that can happen?
Have you got any examples of your experiences of Ruptures and how you have chosen to BE with it all?
I would love to hear any sharings
