The subtle power of an Analog experience

It took me a few days to realise why I had such a profound experience when my wife Anna took me to a surprise night at the Theatre.

Hobarts ‘The Playhouse Theatre’ production Shakespeare In Love.

What I am realising is the profoundly rare (in my life) truly analog presentation by real people, no filters - no digitally Generated wizardry

The live music and wonderful singing added a great texture and ambience to the production.

Raw and real, gorgeous acting and a truly creative, simple, dynamic and effective stage prop setup.

Intimate, thought provoking and fun. Human analog interaction and community.

Can I invite you to maybe consider analog experiences like this as an alternative to the ever growing exposure to digital and algorithm driven experiences.

It really felt great to know that when applauding the crew, the actors were in the room and could hear and receive the applause and gratitude.

Real money was exchanged when purchasing tickets and an the program, supporting what I truly hope is a resurrection of live performance by real people dedicated to the arts.
